At the end of the first day in Valencia, young Iker Lecuona proved to be the most comfortable in the complicated conditions resulting from the heavy rain falling on the circuit for two days. The Spaniard actually finished first in each of the two sessions. Joe Roberts and Lorenzo Baldassarri also took the lead alongside him, and the three men are likely to be strong again today as the track continues to be wet. Miguel Oliveira and Fabio Quartararo were not left out either, although a little behind the other three.

If the qualifications risk taking place in the dry, the FP3 will however take place on a wet track. We will therefore see if the positions are confirmed. Session begins at 10:55 a.m.

After the rain briefly returned during MotoGP, it has stopped for the moment when the Moto2s set off for their FP3, but the track is obviously wet. Ambient temperature and track temperature are both 15 degrees.

Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) set the reference time in 1'50.893, while Tommaso Marcon (HDR Heidrun – Speed Up) falls during the reconnaissance lap.

After ten minutes, Xavi Cardelus (Marinelli Snipers Team) makes a mistake. In front, Remy gardner (Tech 3 Racing) took command of the session ahead of Xavi Verge (Dynavolt Intact GP), Francis Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46), Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) and Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo). The three strong men of yesterday, Joe Roberts (NTS RW Racing GP), Iker Lecuona (Swiss Innovative Investors) and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Pons HP 40) are respectively thirteenth, fifteenth and twenty-sixth.

Five minutes later, Remy gardner and Mattia Pasini (Italtrans Racing Team) fell in turn 10 and turn 14 respectively. It was then the turn ofHéctor Garzo (Tech 3 Racing), the replacement for the injured Bo Bendsneyder, to fall in turn 12.

Shortly after mid-session, lecuona took first place, like yesterday, ahead of Gardner et Márquez. Then, we find Andrea Locatelli (Italtrans Racing Team), Xavi Verge (Dynavolt Intact GP) and fabio quartararo (HDR Heidrun – Speed Up). Finally, Sam Lowes (Swiss Innovative Investors), Francis Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46), Miguel Oliveira et Niki Tuuli (SIC Racing Team) complete the top 10.

Tuuli went back up to fourth position, but made a mistake a few moments later, just after Jules Danilo (SAGTeam). In front, Olive tree, Lowes and Virgin take turns taking the best time. The Spaniard finally has the last word. Behind them we find Gardner, returned to the track after his fall.

In the last minutes, Baldassarri made a mistake in turn 2 when he had moved up to ninth place. At the front, no one improves and Xavi Verge therefore finished at the top of this FP3.
