Valencia Grand Prix, Ricardo Tormo, Moto3 FP1: Atiratphuvapat opens the ball in the rain

Moto3 launches Valencia with its already designated World Champion. It is George Martin who became, at the end of the Sepang race, the fourth Spaniard to achieve success in the category. After Vinales in 2013, Alex Marquez in 2014 and Joan Mir in 2017. He is at the head of seven victories, a series already reached by Luis Salon in 2013 and Brad Binder in 2016. He can therefore surpass them this Sunday!

This last meeting of the year will have to determine who Bezzecchi or By Giannantonio will be vice-champion. The two men are separated by nine points. History will indeed be written with a young Turk aged 15 years and 115 days who will participate in his first Grand Prix. It is Can Öncü winner of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. He can not only become the first Turk to achieve this at this level, but also the youngest driver to achieve this in a Grand Prix, since Redding had won at the age of 15 years and 170 days…

Before the start of hostilities, it is the weather which is the concern of all the protagonists... A delicate area which the actors approached with caution, which did not prevent certain tricks...

George Martin, on the other hand did not go into combat.

In the end it is Atiratphuvapat who achieved the best time in 1'52.782. He is the only one under the 1'53 mark. Bezzecchi follows as follows Migno, Arbolino et Fernandez. The Turkish prodigy Oncu is ninth.
