The Pramac Racing driver had a pretty good weekend before unfortunately making his first mistake of the season.

Danilo Petrucci did not have as excellent a weekend as he has sometimes done since the start of the year, but did rather well. He, in fact, finished tenth in FP1, third in FP2 and thirteenth in FP3, which allowed him to move directly into Q2. He then finished eighth in FP4 before missing out on his qualification and finishing eleventh.

Even though he only started from the fourth row, the Italian driver hoped to be able to move up quickly. He overtook several drivers but had contact with Álvaro Bautista on lap eleven, which caused him to lose four places. Attacking hard to get back up, he unfortunately fell three laps later, as the last third of the race began.

When he returned to the box, he was inevitably disappointed, as he was one of the rare drivers to have scored points in every race since the start of the year: “It hasn't been a good weekend. I'm sorry for the team because we still worked well. I didn't have confidence braking but I tried to recover to take points for the Championship. I can't wait to be in Germany to have a great race. »
