Grand Prix after Grand Prix, Fabio Quartararo continues to impress the MotoGP paddock.

The young rookie arrived on the Mugello circuit after having completed exactly 1234 laps in MotoGP, or 6024 km, without having experienced the slightest fall and constantly seeking the limit of his Yamaha M1, as evidenced by his best laps in the race at Qatar and at Le Mans, as well as his pole position at Jerez.

And, on this first day of the Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello circuit, the 20-year-old Niçois' festival continued, with El Diablo adding 39 laps to his experience, during which he finished FP1 in 4th position at 0,253 second to Marc Márquez, and missing provisional pole position in FP2 by only 46 thousandths of a second!

Joy therefore reigns in the Petronas clan, even if the Frenchman, temporary standard-bearer of Iwata's troops, does not give in to the ambient euphoria by announcing that it will be difficult for him to finalize a first line tomorrow.

fabio quartararo : “This track is incredible. I'm having a lot of fun on this bike. I feel good braking and the bike runs very well, so I'm taking advantage of it and I'm going to do my best to be as fast as possible. I think this is the first time I've had this much fun on this track. We have to review the data, but I think it will be really difficult to get to the front of the grid here, because there are a lot of drivers whose times are very tight. Tomorrow we will continue to work on the choice of tires for the race and we will try to have a good qualifying session.”
