From the first free practice session this morning, Jorge Martín shown to be above others by achieving excellent times alone, without aspiration. However, Arón Canet finished just behind him, getting very close at the end of the session. Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio took their time but are both in the top 10. Other drivers, notably Italian, like Andrea Migno and Niccolò Antonelli, also asserted themselves at the front, motivated for their home Grand Prix.

Will these places be confirmed in FP2? Response from 13:10 p.m.

The temperature in the air has only increased by two degrees since this morning, going from 21 to 23 degrees, however the track has warmed up well and has reached almost 40 degrees.

Without surprise, Jorge Martín (Del Conca Gresini) sets the reference time in 1'58.537, which suggests that the times will drop significantly during the session.

After ten minutes, it's his teammate Fabio DiGiannantonio (Del Conca Gresini) who regains control in 1'57.900. He is ahead of his teammates Niccolo Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) and Tatsuki suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corsica), Kaito Toba (Honda Team Asia) and Jorge Martin.

This FP2 is very calm, and halfway through the session the places have not moved. Di Giannantonio is still in the lead with the same time ahead Antonelli, Suzuki, Tuff et Martín. Behind, Philipp Oettl (Sudmetal Schedl GP Racing), Marco Bezzecchi (PruestlGP), Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers Team), Darryn Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA BOE Skull Rider) complete the top 10.

Fifteen minutes from the end, Niccolo Antonelli is the victim of a big high side. The pilot is conscious but appears to have been injured; he is evacuated on a stretcher and taken to the Medical Center.

In the last three minutes, Jorge Martín gets back in front of his teammate, then everyone improves: Philipp Oettl takes the lead in the ranking, immediately dethroned by Arón Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0), before Martín regains command, and further improves his own time in his last lap.
