The games are open in the conquest of this pole position of the Italian Grand Prix Moto3 version. For the moment, it is Honda which is leading the way in front of the KTM while this morning, during the last free practice session, the track record in the category shook. The Italians are obviously overwhelmed and we will begin hostilities with a Q1 so four drivers will go out to go to Q2. So, for whom are the starting grid controls?

24° in the air and 40° on the track are the sunny conditions for this two-stage exercise. For the ten-minute Q1, we have some great people, like Migno, Arenas ou Darryn binder, but also the curiosity of the meeting which is Zannoni with his unique TM motorcycle.
It's a leisurely start to Q1! 🤔
Tactics could be key here with the slipstream so important! 💨#ItalianGP 🇮🇹 pic.twitter.com/YDFPATNTWV

It is precisely this Zannoni which achieves the first reference in 1'58.764. Fernandez Kornfeil et Binder follow. Migno comes across a group who are observing each other and expressing their discontent. Will there be penalties to follow? Ramirez takes control as the last five minutes begin. The reference is 1'57.972.
We jostle for the checkered flag. The pilots make gestures that would not be considered polite.

The last seconds are epic. From this melee, these are Fernandez, Ramirez, Binder et Migno who will come out to go to Q2… No miracle for Zannoni who will start 25th on Sunday.
A warm atmosphere which promises for Q2... The modest reference of 1'57.792 for Q1 shows that the drivers had a lot of trouble. We will therefore have to do otherwise.
The final seconds of Q1 resembling the final lap of a race! 💨@ 25RaulFernandez tops a messy session with @24Marcosramirez, @ DarrynBinder40 and @M16NO also advancing! 👍#ItalianGP 🇮🇹 pic.twitter.com/gDgcvfmlm9

The track gains 1° at the start of this 15-minute final. But the tension is still present. Suzuki thus sets off at the limit of the red flag at the end of the stands. Canet can't get there without stalling... But he can start again by being restarted by an opposing team...
18 riders remain to compete for pole position! ⚔️

In 1'57.453, Suzuki signs the first reference. His teammate Antonelli follows for 2 thousandths… fenati is third. Everyone then returns for the last five minutes. But Arbolino, McPhee et Binder, on the contrary, come out. Arbolino sees his best lap canceled. Too bad, he was the fastest!
The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed the @teamSic58 riders jumping the green light at the start of Q2! 🚦@TatsukiSuzuki24 and @_Nicco23 currently leading the session, but could trouble be heading their way? 🤔#ItalianGP 🇮🇹 pic.twitter.com/XfTr46wTEu

Three minutes from time, the wild animals are released. For what verdict? Arbolino ! With the new track record in 1'56.407. This is almost seven tenths better than Rodrigo, Dallas Port closes the first line. Migno, Suzuki et Antonelli will be in the second row. fenati is seventh, Canet tenth, Masiat twelfth and McPhee 18th
