Italian Grand Prix Mugello MotoGP FP4: Andrea Iannone regains his possession amid numerous crashes!

Ultimately, it only took a fall and 3 sessions for Marc Márquez to achieve the best time and take the circuit record.

This doesn't really bode well for the suspense in the championship, even if the gap of 3 tenths achieved by the Spanish driver is not yet insurmountable for the race.

The hunting group was led this morning by Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Iannone et John Zarco while Andrea Dovizioso, Marc Márquez's main challenger last season, had to settle for 10th position.

Worse, Maverick Vinales et Dani Pedrosa will have to go through the Q1 repechage to try to appear in the first 4 lines!

The sun beats down strongly in an almost clear Tuscan sky, now generating temperatures of 26° in the air and 48° on the track.

For once, Jorge Lorenzo stay in his box and let the other drivers go.

This has mainly chosen a hard front tire and a soft rear tire in conditions a priori similar to those expected tomorrow for the race.

In 1'47.816, Jorge Lorenzo turns out to be the fastest in the first flying lap, ahead of Valentino Rossi et Alex Espargaro.

During the 4rd round, Karel Abraham accidental fall at turn 6.

Meanwhile, everyone is improving but it's still Jorge Lorenzo, in 1'47.632, who leads the way, ahead Valentino Rossi et John Zarco.

Hafiz Syahrin crash in turn 5, just before Johann zarco does the same at 200 km/h in the following curve: bad start to the session for the Tech3 drivers who, fortunately, are not injured.

Andrea Dovizioso now close behind his teammate at 6/100.

Dani Pedrosa fell without gravity, losing the front at turn 11 while Marc Marquez is embarrassed by Cal Crutchlow.

At the end of the first run, the hierarchy is composed of Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Dovizioso, Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi, Alex Rins, Maverick Vinales, Jack Miller, Johann Zarco, Danilo Petrucci et Franco Morbidelli.

More Andrea Iannone, who did not stop, set the best time in 1'47.575!

On resumption, alex rins goes to the ground at high speed in the chicane before the last corner.

During the last minutes, Maverick Vinales seems to regain confidence and positions itself 5th. Conversely, Alex Espargaro minorly increases the list of falls in turn 15.

Johann zarco did not return to the track after his fall and completed a total of 4 laps.
