Barely getting off his Yamaha M1 satellite of the Tech3 team after obtaining 2nd place on the starting line of the 2018 Japanese Grand Prix, Johann Zarco is happy and confident, and who has almost equaled his achievement of the year last, but this time in the dry, who spoke to the microphone of the official site MotoGP.com.

Johann, we saw on television how much you squeezed everything possible out of the bike in your qualifying lap. Tell us about it.

Johann zarco : “(Laughs) for sure, it was a very good round. I lost pole position in the last chicane where I encountered a problem going down from 3rd gear to second. And because of that, I may have lost a few thousandths of a second. 2nd place is just very good and I am very happy. Since the first outing in FP1 I have been fast, and now again I can show myself and see, that I like this track and that I can attack. That works well. Tomorrow, if we have a dry race, we must use this 2nd position, perhaps to lead the race, because it will be a very important point to ride this Yamaha well.
