At the finish of this Italian Grand Prix, Marc Márquez was not only looking at his ranking ahead of Dovizioso when taking stock for the championnat. He therefore had bad days in his head when commenting on this sixth round of a championship which is already eluding him… “ It was a really tough weekend. » explained the Yamaha rider. “ I have a hard time remembering such a bad weekend. It's difficult because we came here with different expectations. We knew we might suffer in some places, but I thought we could be more competitive and we were never fast ».

Vale added: “ it was hard from Friday onwards. We did everything to improve the bike, because we are the official team and we have the task to try, but unfortunately it didn't work. I never felt comfortable and we went very slowly, then there was also a bit of bad luck not to have touched Q2 and to have started so far back on the grid, with all that implies, I even touched Mir… The error of the 3rd day on Saturday morning was decisive. Otherwise I could have had a more decent race ».
