A Nagashima in the morning who celebrated his contract renewal for 2020 and an Augusto Fernández who gradually asserts himself as the man of this second part of the season, these were the drivers who asserted themselves during a Friday which marked the first day of the San Marino Grand Prix. But their opponents do not intend to stop there and this Saturday could well reveal another hierarchy with, in particular, Alex Marquez who must establish his status as boss of this season.

Mattia Pasini falls at turn 10 and has difficulty getting up. It's full track. He leaves on a stretcher. Augusto Fernandez fall at turn 14 but without seriousness. He was sixth in the session which passed its first quarter of an hour.

We note that the best KTM is that of Bezzecchi in the colors of Tech3. The Italian is eighth and therefore potentially in Q2 unlike Brad Binder, the official of the Austrian firm and fifteenth. By Giannantonio clocked a 1'37.802 which gave him control of the session with his Speed Up. There are ten minutes left of the game.

George Martin falls violently at turn 6. The bike is full track and there are breaks on the asphalt. Alex Marquez signed a 1'37.776 which put him in the lead but he fell shortly after at turn 1. Nagashima takes third place from his teammate Gardner. the last five minutes are eventful! agitated falls at turn 8.
