Jorge Martínez “Aspar” is the main shareholder of the company that acquired the Guadassuar circuit, which counts among its investors Juan Roig, the banker Paul Gomero and Grupo Ática. The operation aims to promote the training of new talents in a historic area for Valencian motorcycling, as well as to give enthusiasts a place where they can practice their sport.

Jorge Martínez “Aspar” acquired, with a group of investors, the Guadassuar circuit, which will be called Circuit Aspar. The company, in which Juan Roig, banker Paul Gomero and Grupo Ática, among others, have minority stakes, aims to renovate the facilities in order to reopen the circuit as quickly as possible and start working on it , by promoting the training of new talents and offering motor racing fans a place where they can practice their sport.

The complex occupies 350 square meters and is divided into four zones: A main circuit of 000 meters, a karting circuit of 2 meters; a 200 meter dirt circuit and a drift and road driving school with a surface of 850 meters of asphalt.

In the words of Jorge Martínez “Aspar” : " We are very happy to be able to relaunch this Guadassuar circuit project, which is a great opportunity for our sport. The circuit will serve as a springboard for young talents and will continue to promote Valencian and Spanish drivers.

« In the “Comunitat Valenciana” we have the best fans in Spain and we want to continue to give them great satisfaction with this support for young drivers, who will give us a lot of joy in the future. For me, personally, it is also a return to my roots, to Guadassuar, where I competed in my first race in 1979 and from where I want to continue to give back to this sport everything it has given me in addition 40 years of career ", he added.

The circuit is located about twenty kilometers south of Valencia, in a region that has been at the heart of urban racing in Spain. Until now it was called Circuit de la Ribera and has been closed since 2019, following numerous disagreements between the municipality and the former owner.
