This is certainly not the “wisedest video on the web” that we are offering you today. It comes to us from Elias Schwärzler's Instagram account, a mountain bike virtuoso who set himself a challenge that was both idiotic and unprecedented: breaking a circuit speed record. To do this, he let himself be towed by a Honda CBR 1000 RR-R driven by Geri Gesslbauer at the Slovakia Ring, and the result is impressive to say the least!

Equipped with a motorcycle suit and helmet, Elias Schwärzler does not need to pedal, since the Japanese already has enough power to pull it at this crazy speed. Enjoy the video.

The holder of the bicycle speed record, for her part, was not worried in the least: Denise Mueller-Korenek pedaled up to 296 km/h on September 16, 2018, on the Bonneville salt lake, in Utah. Here is the record video, published by the Wall Street Journal YouTube account.
