For many bikers, traveling long distances with an electric motorcycle still seems something impossible if at least it doesn't make sense for the sacrifices that it might require. Ali Abdo, a thirty-eight-year-old motorcyclist from Alexandria, Egypt, disagrees with the longest journey, covering the beauty of 12 km in 749 days, from October 30 to November 10 last year.

Ali Abdo's goal is to draw attention to the climate crisis, which is why he completed "The Ride to COP27" the route that earned him the new record and which he talks about in this video from about twenty minutes. He traveled to Egypt to reach the COP 27 meeting on his Energica Eva EsseEsse9.

Now he plans to travel to COP28 in the United Arab Emirates, breaking his own record. It will leave Egypt then pass through Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. It would also become another record: that of the greatest number of countries visited on the saddle of an electric motorcycle. All that remains is to wish him good luck.
