Building on the already impressive foundation of its very first motorcycle, American motorcycle manufacturer Damon is turning its attention to roadsters, by unveiling the HyperFighter Colossus. Well almost… This exceptional machine is available for reservation, and production will be limited to 100 units!

The final specifications and design of the bike are yet to be confirmed, although that hasn't stopped Damon from opening his order books for the new machine. Interestingly, none of the future owners will be able to see the final design of the HyperFighter Colossus during the reservation process. Instead, the new machine can only be seen once it's on display at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas which is scheduled to take place on January 5, 2022.

The HyperDrive powertrain develops 200 horsepower and more than 200 Nm of torque. The announced top speed reaches 275 km/h and zero to 100 km/h would be possible in less than 3 seconds. Impressive performance! Range (highway and city) is estimated at around 235 km on a single charge.

According to Damon, the 20 kWh battery will take 45 minutes to reach 80% full charge on fast charging, 2,5 hours to reach 90% on a Level 2 outlet (240V) – which is Level 2 charging the most. faster on an electric motorcycle – or 15 hours on a level 1 outlet (110 V).

Technology built into the HyperFighter Colossus includes the CoPilot system developed by Damon, integrating a 360-degree radar, camera and sensor system that tracks up to 64 objects around the motorcycle to keep the rider as aware as possible of what is happening around him. Also standard is Damon's Shift system, which electronically changes the ergonomics on the move. According to the company, there's even more tech wizardry to expect with this model, all of which will be detailed at CES 2022.

The HyperFighter Colossus is priced at $35, and this machine is already available for reservation with a deposit of $250 on the official Damon website.
