Max Biaggi's thirst for speed cannot slow down his successes and records on the electric Voxan Wattman. Last November 22, on the runway of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the rider sped along at an incredible average speed of 455,737 km/h, with peaks recorded at 470,257 km/h in the category of partially aerodynamic electric motorcycles weighing less than 300 kg. A feat that adds to those won by the entire Voxan team, since no less than 22 records were established in one year! But Max Biaggi and the Voxan/Venturi team do not intend to stop there, with another objective in their sights: reaching 500 km/h.

In the meantime, between tests and experiments to allow the Voxan Wattman to drive faster and faster, Max Biaggi received certificates from the FIM on February 23 attesting to his records set on an electric motorcycle.

“We knew we could achieve these goals and we did it thanks to an exceptional driver like Max Biaggi” proudly declared Gildo Pastor, owner of the Venturi group, “and to a genius like Louis-Marie Blondel who designed the structure of Voxan. We now have the dream of reaching 500 km/h by December. We know that it won’t be easy and that we’ll have to work a lot, but it’s our dream.”

A dream which, it must be said, continued without interruption for several months, during which Max Biaggi, from one event to another, achieved the feat of breaking 22 world records aboard the Voxan , including 11 at once in Chateauroux. Given the talent of the pilot and that of the engineers at the head of the Voxan project, there are no doubts about the success of the company.
