Observation of the Guardia Civil de Montmelo during the MotoGP Grand Prix of Catalonia on the Barcelona circuit.

Circumstantial facts:

Friday, September 1 at 15:30 p.m., El Señor Raul fernandez lost control of his vehicle and fell at turn #12 of the Barcelona–Catalunya circuit, then after abandoning his motorcycle, crossed a tire barrier and a fence before illicitly seizing an electric scooter belonging to El Señor Christian Bourget.

Mr Christian Bourget, being busy taking photos for the Paddock–GP.com website, had left the keys on his vehicle, thus showing his total confidence in the Catalan environment.

Mr Raul fernandez, in a hurry to return to his box to continue his activity as a professional motorcycle rider, first looked in the direction of El Señor Christian Bourget then informed a track marshal that the scooter would be recoverable in front of the RNF team box, then, perhaps disturbed by his action, first escaped in a first direction before making a U-turn dared to go back in the opposite direction where he then encountered El Señor Christian Bourget.

Supposedly unaware that he was the owner of said recently purchased scooter, El Señor Raul fernandez then continued his journey at high speed to the applause of the crowd, perhaps complicit in the crime, before leaving the vehicle in front of his box, taking care to remove the ignition keys, which El Señor Christian Bourget is grateful to him.

Once at the RNF team box after a walk that seemed very long to El Señor Christian Bourget whose physical form cannot however be doubted, he was able to recover his vehicle and was offered a selfie with the “borrower” as a thank you, an offer which he has for the moment declined.

In view of the facts and the apparent good faith of both parties, the case is closed without further action by the competent authorities.
