On the eve of the inauguration of what will become the longest suspension bridge on the planet, the Canakkale 1915, which measures 2 m in its main section, the two most successful pilots in Turkish history, Kenan Sofuoglu and Toprak Razgatlioglu, compete in a race using two of the fastest vehicles on the planet: the Ferrari SF023 and the Kawasaki Ninja H90R.

If we talk about the pinnacle of speed in the field of homologated vehicles, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R and the Ferrari SF90 are two of the greatest representatives in this field. If at the controls of these undisputed machines are Turkey's two most prolific drivers, Kenan Sofuoglu and Toprak Razgatlioglu, the result is certainly sensational.

The site chosen for such a battle was the recently opened Turkish Canakkale 1915 suspension bridge, which became the longest infrastructure of its kind on the planet. It has a length of 2 m, 023 meters longer than the current record holder, the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge located in Japan.

In 2016, Kenan Sofuoglu broke the world record for maximum speed for a production motorcycle on another bridge in Turkey, the Osman Gazi, where the Turkish rider reached up to 400 km/h on the handlebars of his own Kawasaki Ninja H2R, an unprecedented event until that moment.

Six years later, and just hours before the inauguration of the Canakkale 1915, he once again demonstrated why the Ninja H2R is an indomitable beast that very few riders can tame. The rival was his compatriot and protégé Toprak Razgatlioglu in an imposing Ferrari SF90: a power of 1000 hp, compared to the 326 hp of the Ninja. Nearly €500 for the Italian compared to 000 for the Japanese. In short, two myths and a final destination: crossing the finish line before the other.

The reality is that Kenan Sofuoglu had to work hard to keep the front wheel of the Ninja H2R on the ground, at least in the first few meters, as the video attests. But he quickly managed to catch up with the beast from Maranello, taking victory in this picturesque location.
