“I want to continue to win, to be there, in the game, to try to obtain a tenth title. And a son. I would like to have a child and this seems like the right time.” It is from the pen of Giorgio Terruzzi that Corriere Della Serra has just published a very interesting interview with Vale, of which here are some extracts.

“I'm single, which is basically the problem with having a child (smile). I guess I need to rethink my strategy. You actually get engaged, to see if things go well...I put in a lot of effort, but the results aren't exactly stellar. My parents raised me in true freedom. And so entering into this freedom is complicated for a woman. And when that happens, it becomes complicated for me to accept it.”

“The end of the 2015 season was a very deep disappointment for me. Some things happened that shouldn't have happened, a shame for the sport. I fought against tough rivals, from Biaggi to Stoner, but none of them behaved like Marquez did then. I had never seen a driver who was not in contention for the title race act like that against someone else. Regrets ? Of course. If I hadn't said anything...if I hadn't reacted...The truth is they cheated anyway and at least it got off my chest, I sowed discord. »

“Lorenzo, for better or worse, is more transparent than Marquez, less fake. Viñales seems to me to be more balanced than Lorenzo. We will see if he can handle the pressure, if he will change with the stress. Of course, on track I might not even see him, given how fast he was during testing. But people reveal themselves with stress. Anyone can be a perfect gentleman as long as the motorcycles are stopped. »
