He really made us vibrate throughout the Moto2 race at the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. The spectacle was unreal as he overtook Alex Márquez in improbable places who passed him each time in the second longest straight of the championship.

How did he do it? No one really knows, but the fact remains that Mattia Pasini blew us away this Sunday, and the least thanks is for taking an interest in him.

Mattia Pasini was born on August 13, 1985 in Rimini, Emilia-Romagna.

He made his Grand Prix debut in 2004 in South Africa. But at that time, he had already suffered a serious motocross accident which damaged his right arm and hand, taking away all his strength on that side.

His 2-stroke career will be punctuated by 10 victories and 14 podiums, twice bringing him to fourth place in the 125 cm³ championship.

In 2010, he moved to Moto2, a category in which he completed 5 full seasons and 3 seasons of near abstinence. Despite this, he has not been on the podium once since Misano 2009, his last victory dating back to Mugello 2009.

How is this possible when he was truly incredible yesterday at Mugello? Aside from an obvious state of grace for his national Grand Prix, the answer still remains to be found…

You should also know that Mattia Pasini almost systematically wins all the karting races contested against other drivers in Misano, and is in the Top 5 of drivers training in Tavullia...

The Italtrans driver explains to Eurosport's special correspondent, Vanessa Guerra, the adjustments necessary for his disability.
