This morning, a much less clear sky than in previous days greeted the MotoGP riders for their Sunday warm-up.
However, if temperatures are dropping significantly, with 22° in the air and 28° on the ground, there is no risk of rain. But if this trend continues this afternoon, it could call into question the tire choice made yesterday in FP4 in favor of the softer range. Johann zarco will therefore be particularly observed…

The contrast is striking between a Jorge Lorenzo who performs, as usual, the first flying lap in the lead, while his teammate Andrea Dovizioso is still in his box fixing his sliders, following food poisoning...
Valentino Rossi (soft/medium) is the first to set a serious milestone, in 1'48.178, ahead of a Márquez and an Iannone found.
Marc Márquez (hard/medium) also wants to ensure that he will be in the running this afternoon and drops the provisional reference to 1'47.689 before going out, once again, at San Donato following a strong ride on the hump of the straight line. Fortunately, despite crossing the gravel, the incredibly skillful Honda driver escaped without falling.

This is not the case Loris Baz who exits at high speed but gets up unscathed at turn #15.
Meanwhile, Maverick Vinales (dur/dur) took command in 1'47.422, leading to Andrea Iannone behind him.
5 minutes from the checkered flag, Andrea Dovizioso has still not taken to the track, while the first Ducati, that of Michele Pirro, appears in sixth position, behind Vinales, Iannone, Marquez, Folger and Zarco.
Three minutes later, Andrea Dovizioso does a single burn-in tour.
Conversely, in his last turn, John Zarco takes second position, 2/10 behind Maverick Vinales.
