It is with great interest that the Japanese public will watch the Moto2 race which will take place this afternoon on the stubbornly wet Motegi track. Japanese times of course. And for good reason. It is one of them, Takaaki Nakagami, who will start from pole position. Hiroshi Aoyama is the last Japanese to have climbed onto the podium of a site which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It was during the 2009 edition during which he finished second in 250cc, which was succeeded by Moto2. The future LCR rider in MotoGP therefore has a heavy responsibility. How is he feeling this morning, for the last test gallop before the big jump in the Grand Prix?

Before going any further, here is the table serving as an inventory.

We will recall that the other issue, and not the least, of this deadline, is the continuation of the duel for the title between Lüthi et Morbidely, the first being the challenger for 21 points of the second. However, the two protagonists will start thirteenth and fifteenth respectively. They will have to take risks to get out of the always hot pack.

Hostilities were delayed by a little over an hour due to the mechanical incident experienced by Migno in Moto3, a fact which stained a Motegi track with oil which had to be cleaned diligently. As a result, the exercise was reduced to fifteen minutes, or half the time usually allotted. Incidentally, given the deadlines, the Grand Prix of the category will be reduced to 15 laps.

In 2'09.140, Syahrin signed the first reference while NAVARRO suffered his third fall of the weekend. This time at turn 5, after falling at 14 and 7. Quarterly fell at turn 3 while the Malaysian took his advantage to 2408.103, ahead Morbidely, bagnaia, Olive tree et Alex Marquez. Lüthi was a careful fourteenth.

In view of the arrival, Cortese posted a good 2'07.042 but Syharin stole the show in 2'06.905, the only performance under 2'07 per lap. CortesesOliveira, Bagnaia, Alex Marquez and Morbidelli follow. Lüthi is tenth, Nakagami thirteenth.
