The VR46 patrol observed the day before was dismantled this morning by Jorge Martin who brought balm to the heart of the Ajo team. However, there is no peace of mind among the ex-KTM since their second driver and championship leader Nagashima suffered a blow to the head which deprived him of the rest of FP3. Will he be ready for these qualifications? For their part, Lowes and Baldassarri also showed good spirits at the start of this Saturday…

36,1° in the air and 57° on the track are the conditions offered to drivers for a session with two halves. A Q1 first, at the end of which the first four drivers will join the 14 colleagues already promised for Q2, the real final for the best places on the starting grid.

Nagashima will be back on track during Q2, he gave us a big scare this morning when he fell heavily on his head.

For now, it's time for the drivers who are aiming for 4th places in Q2:

It is bastianini who at the start of the session sets off at a good pace, setting the best provisional time of the session in 1.41.740s before Virgo, Corsi et Schrotter. 

The 4 drivers who will join the 14 promoted this morning are: Bastianini, Virgo, Corsi et Schrotter.

The Q2 session is about to start and the temperatures on the track and in the ambient air are increasing: 57,5° on the track and 36,6° in the air. It's gone for 15 minutes.

It is Marini who is positioned at the forefront in 1.41.882s in front NAVARRO et Bezzecchi. Open up et Canet are in 4th and 5th position.

The SKY VR46 tandem unrolls and Bezzecchi in turn takes the lead with a time of 1.41.728s ahead Marini. But bastianini goes on the offensive and comes between the two SKY pilots. NAVARRO et Lowes come to close this top5.

Bezzecchi signs the first pole position of his career in Moto1 ahead Lowes and Bastianini.
