A little destabilized by the Michelins during winter testing, Andrea Dovizioso returned to the forefront just for the start of the season. A perfect progression which, however, was not rewarded, since after a 2nd place in Qatar, the Ducati rider was harpooned by Iannone in Argentina, then by Pedrosa in the USA.

The feeling of injustice is therefore great on the Forli side, but it's the race, and we have to look ahead...

Andrea Dovizioso: “Unfortunately, I missed two opportunities to finish on the podium in the last two races, through no fault of my own, and this is clearly a frustrating situation which is reflected in my championship standings. However, I take a step back from this because I know that I have always worked really well with my team during these first three races, and that I have shown myself to be competitive on the track.

Jerez is one of the most difficult circuits for the Ducatis and for me, but I am very confident in what we have, and so I will attack hard in Spain, to try and get back on the podium.”
