22° in the air, 28° on the track, Jerez is the place to be this morning when you are a biker! In 1'44.899, Hector Barbera remembers everyone well by establishing the first reference of this last session before qualifying. Alex Marquez immediately responds to him in 1'44.404 and tells him that he will not share the status of local hero in front of his compatriots.
Odendal falls at turn 6 with his NTS chassis while he is twelfth. The time that Schrotter ranks second. A place that then takes Brad Binder, KTM official. However, it's on his teammate Olive tree that attention is suddenly focused with this official announcement which makes him the first Portuguese rider in MotoGP!

At the start of the last quarter of an hour, NAVARRO surprises his world with a 1'42.285 which propels him into the lead in front Sam Lowes which KTM is not thinking about for the future. As it is the time for surprises, Baldassarri offers a 1'42.206 which puts him in control of the session. Brad Binder as for him, pushes his broken down KTM to the pit… He is fifth behind Alex Marquez.

fenati, Pasini, Schrotter, bagnaia et Locatelli close the top 10 as the last five minutes loom. Olive tree is only thirteenth, just ahead Quarterly. Would he already have the lead in MotoGP? Alex Marquez commits his first mistake of the weekend by crashing at turn 6.

Baldassarri raises the tone and achieves the first time under 1'42 with a 1'41.958 which gives him the new track record in the category! He even improved it straight away to 1'41.890... NAVARRO, Pasini et Lowes follow. Alex Marquez is fifth ahead Brad Binder. bagnaia is only ninth, Olive tree twelfth, fenati good seventh and Quarterly sixteenth.
