The most important session of the weekend is about to begin at the Jerez circuit. Everyone wants to have a good qualification in order to start as far ahead as possible in tomorrow's race.

Author of pole position last year, and strong man this season, Jorge Martín inevitably promises to be one of the favorites. But watch out for twists and turns! The Spaniard has shown signs of nervousness due to the excellent results of his teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio, and this could play tricks on him. Their opponents Arón Canet and Enea Bastianini, although discreet, were at the forefront in all sessions and can also hope to conquer pole. We must not forget the others either, because there are many who can pick it up, like Niccolò Antonelli, who dominated FP2.

Who will manage to obtain the first European pole position of the season? Response from 12:35 p.m. French time.

Temperatures have risen considerably since this morning: the track is 38 degrees while it is 25 degrees in the air. Marco Bezzecchi (PruestlGP) established the reference time in 1'47.876, while after seven minutes, Darryn binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) suffered a violent fall at turn 4. Although conscious, he was evacuated on a stretcher.

Ten minutes after the start of the session, Marcos Ramirez (Bester Capital Dubai) leads in 1'47.261, but very quickly several drivers alternate in the lead: Fabio Di Giannantonio (Del Conca Gresini), Nicolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) or even Andrea Migno (Angel Nieto Team Moto3). It is finally Jorge Martín (Del Conca Gresini) who has the upper hand in 1'46.937.

Mid-session, Philipp Oettl (Sudmetal Schedl GP Racing) is on provisional pole with a time of 1'46.346 ahead Fabio Di Giannantonio, Jorge Martín, Arón Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) and Andrea Migno. Then Niccolo Antonelli, John Mcphee (CIP – Green Power), Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing), the driver invites Ai Ogura (Asia Talent Tean) and Marcos Ramirez.

News from Darryn Binder we learn that he has dislocated his shoulder and that he will not be able to take part in the race.

Six minutes before the end, all the drivers are on track except the Gresini teammates Martín et Di Giannantonio. They only came out for a quick lap even though they were first and seventh respectively.

Makar Yurchenko (CIP – Green Power) and gabriel rodrigo (RBA BOE Skull Rider) fell one after the other in the penultimate lap of the session. Meanwhile no one manages to improve the time of Jorge Martín who won the eleventh pole position of his career, the second of the year. His main adversary, Aron Canet, although comfortable throughout the weekend, cannot do better than fifteenth, a poor performance which will be handicapping in catching up with his rival in the race.
