Fifth this morning by half a second, second this afternoon by three tenths, Marc Marquez is progressing but still remains behind the man who once again announces himself as the strong man of Jerez, namely Jorge Lorenzo.

And it takes all the talent of the double MotoGP world champion to raise the Honda to such a position, since the manufacturer's second machine, that of Dani Pedrosa, is only in provisional 8th place, but above all at 1,3 second of #99!

So Marc Marquez can indeed consider himself satisfied, even if the Yamahas seem more at ease than the Hondas in Andalusia.

Marc Marquez: “I am satisfied with how this first day went overall. During the first session, we realized that the base of settings that we had defined thanks to the other circuits did not work perfectly well here for us. But we were able to react in FP2. We have made a lot of progress but we have to continue working because I don't feel completely comfortable yet. The important point is that we are not far from Jorge, who is the fastest at the moment. Valentino was also very consistent, but I'm happy with the way the team worked and how they reacted to the problems. So we’ll see if we can take another step forward tomorrow.”
