Next Thursday at 17 p.m. the traditional press conference for the Spanish Grand Prix will be held. Marc Marquez, winner in Austin, Andrea Dovizioso, Maverick Viñales, Scott Redding and Jorge Lorenzo are among the guests of this event.
Rare enough to be underlined, Valentino Rossi is not invited. Generally, it is the drivers present on the podium of the previous race in addition to the reigning World Champion who are invited. Likewise, as many manufacturers as possible are represented.

Forbidden to comment on a competing manufacturer, Lorenzo is not in the best position to announce a possible departure. As long as nothing is officially announced, everything is still possible. Jarvis may be present to announce the arrival of Viñales or, why not, the extension of Lorenzo…
Note that this situation was the same when Rossi “announced” his departure for Ducati. Will Yamaha allow Lorenzo to test the Ducati during the first test in Valencia next November? We'll have to wait for the response...
