“Valentino Rossi 2020” Competition: the collector has found its winner!

The 2020 MotoGP season is now over, as is Valentino Rossi's career in the official Yamaha team, and therefore so is our “Valentino Rossi 2020” Competition!

The prize at stake was an official cardboard poster of the Yamaha MotoGP team in A4 format signed by Valentino Rossi himself after the 2018 French Grand Prix.

This type of item can generally delight collectors. but will end up free of charge with the winner of our Competition.

To try to win this oh-so-symbolic souvenir, all you had to do was register for free on our site and answer the following question:

“According to official statistics, what distance did Valentino Rossi cover on an official Yamaha during Grand Prix weekends? »

In the end, 22 of you found the right answer, probably by going to the statistics section of each Grand Prix on the official website. MotoGP.com then in the section " Results ". Then, by choosing a specific year and the last Grand Prix of the season, you had access to the section “Season Statistics – Riders” which totals the distances covered in practice and in the race.
Afterwards, it was just a matter of adding up the good years, that is to say from 2004 to 2020 except 2011 and 2012 because of Ducati, provided again not to forget to type a number, as visibly done Samantha M. and Simon H. … 😉

Well done to the others who found a total of 136 955,031 kilometers including 109 in practice and 242,401 in the race!

The draw designated Illyes F. as the winner. He will receive the “collector” in a few days.

Thank you all for your participation in this Competition which, for once, required research work...
