Usually, we offered you the opportunity to win VIP Passes and receive a very privileged welcome in the paddock. This is how, over the seasons, Hervé Poncharal, Alain Bronec and Akrapovič have given a very privileged welcome to the lucky winners at Le Mans, Misano, the Red Bull Ring and Magny-Cours., as evidenced by the reports still accessible on our site.
But, obviously unfortunately, all this now seems a distant period and not really about to return, at a time when we are talking about races behind closed doors to have a chance to restart the season...
So even if the ones we propose to make will not be sanitary, We have therefore decided to raise awareness about wearing a mask, and to give our members a chance to win Moto2 and Moto3 rims at the end of their life. (MotoGP returns to manufacturers) which we have been able to collect here and there in the paddock over the years.
The principle is simple: you carefully make a mask decorated according to your idea and you send us two photos (one of the mask and one of you masked) to [email protected] and, each time, the editorial staff will choose the one they like the most and reward its author with a competition rim announced in advance.
For safety reasons, it is obvious that we do not encourage you to wear the homemade masks that we suggest you make outside and that they cannot in any way replace the masks recommended by the national authorities (FPP2, FPP1, surgical, general public, etc.). For the same reason, the rims that we will send to the winners will have been, by drilling or sawing, rendered unusable on a motorcycle but must only serve as a decorative element (coffee table, garden hose reel, wheelbarrow customization, etc. …).
Last clarification, it will probably be a few weeks, or even a few months, before we receive the rims, for obvious logistical problems, but we are committed to sending them to you.
The first Competition will begin this weekend and will last one week. It can be renewed until our stock of rims is exhausted.
