The experience that Jorge Lorenzo has just had in F1 on the Silverstone circuit was well prepared and much more important than the little that had revealed, then that it lasted three days. Three intense days, but the reigning MotoGP world champion was more than satisfied at the end.

The Mallorcan driver did not hide his emotions and was very talkative: “First of all, I would like to thank Monster for giving me this opportunity. It was a great experience, like a dream come true. These last few days have been very special for me. I had the opportunity to work with the best engineers in this sport, to drive an F2 car, to do test sessions in the simulator and, finally, to be able to drive 'the right one'. Today, I was able to experience what it's like to drive an F1 car. It's been an incredible day. I am very satisfied with the time I set on the last outing. From what the engineers told me, my times were really competitive. The car is very smooth, I expected it to be much more nervous and difficult, but in the end everything was very good; the steering wheel, the engine, everything. It's quite easy to drive the car, it's really fast through the corners and the grip is unreal. During the first lap, the power is felt, but when you get used to it, it's similar to a MotoGP, but the corners are another world, at least 40 km/h faster when going through curves. I was also surprised how late you can brake, as well as how much grip the car can maintain at full throttle through fast corners. It's inhumane. »
