Jules Cluzel will be at the start of the 24 Heures Motos. After the arrival of Mike Di Meglio at GMT94 Yamaha and the return of Randy de Puniet with Team SRC Kawasaki, more and more MotoGP riders are being seduced by the particular flavor of the FIM EWC.

Jules Cluzel gives in to the charms of Endurance. Vice-champion of the Supersport World in 2016, 2014 and 2012 after seven seasons in Grand Prix and successes in Moto2, Jules Cluzel is chasing the Supersport world title again this year. This will not prevent him from taking his first laps in Endurance at the 24 Heures Motos aboard the Yamaha Superstock of Team LMD63. This team, based in Clermont-Ferrand, has already been noted for having hired Renaud Lavillénie, Olympic pole vault champion, at the 24 and 2013 2014 Heures Motos. Jules Cluzel will be associated with two experienced Endurance riders, David Perret and Lucas de Carolis.

MotoGP and World Supersport

Jules Cluzel adds his name to the already substantial list of Grand Prix drivers seduced by Endurance. The GMT94 Yamaha announced last November the arrival of Mike Di Meglio, GP125 world champion, to replace Lucas Mahias recruited by the official GRT Yamaha team in Mondial Supersport where he is already shining. Mike Di Meglio will be at the helm with David Checa et Nicolò Canepa.

Randy de Puniet will once again be at the start with Team SRC Kawasaki. Already riding the official Kawasaki, second in the 2016 Bol d'Or, the French MotoGP rider will find Fabien Foret, Supersport world champion, long converted to Endurance. Mathieu Gines will complete the SRC crew.

At the start of the 24 Heures Motos, second round of the 2016-2017 FIM EWC, we will find Alexis Masbou, rider from Moto3, Superstock winner at the last Bol d'Or with Team Moto Ain. He will be at the helm again with Hugo Clere. Moto Ain is also considering the recruitment of the Swiss Robin Mulhauser, who came from Moto2 and entered this season in the FIM Supersport world championship.
