We take the same ones and start again: the trio of pole positions at Estoril struck again to lead the qualifying day at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit!

On a scorching Saturday of the Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Jose Rueda (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0), Lukas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact GP Junior Team) and Joel Esteban (Aspar Team) have taken two consecutive pole positions in 2022 in the JuniorGP™, European Moto2™ Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup categories.

With temperatures climbing to almost 30 degrees in the afternoon, it was during the cooler morning sessions that pole positions were decided in all three categories.

En JuniorGP™, the turn of Jose Rueda in 1:39.835 was enough to beat Luca Lunetta (AC Racing Team), second at 0.113, while david savior (Laglisse Academy) took P3, the Spaniard being 0.134 off Rueda's pace.

4th place in JuniorGP™ qualifying went to David Alonso (Aspar Team), also a little more than a tenth from pole position, and it was the Colombian who came first in QP2 with a time of 1'40.846. Syarifuddin Azman (SIC Racing) and Angel Piqueras (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) complete the second row of the grid, while the Championship leader, Tatchakorn Buasri (Asia Talent Team), will try to maintain its lead on the title since P9.

The rookies Alex and Théo Gourdon (Leopard Impala Junior Team) are 3 and 4 seconds behind.

Lukas Tulovic will once again start from pole position in Moto2 ™, but his advantage this weekend is not as important as the half-second he enjoyed at Estoril. The German's time of 1'34.777 is only 0.027 faster than that ofAlex Escrig (Yamaha Philippines Stylobike) and the duo is set to engage in a fantastic battle at the front of this Sunday's race.

Senna Agius (Promoracing) will be third on the starting grid for the Moto2™ race. The Australian hopes to add to his double P2 obtained in the first round.

The time of 1'41.975 Joel Esteban was enough to put him on pole once again and Brian Uriarte (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) will be alongside the driver from Barcelona.

Rico Salmela (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) qualified third and will start on the front row for Race 2, but the Finn will start from the back of the grid for Race 1 after riding slowly in more than five sectors during qualifying . Cesar Parrilla (FAU55 TEY Racing), which qualified in fourth position, will start on the front row for Race 1.

French side, alone Guillem Planques (First Bike Academy) passed the qualification milestone, and in good fashion since he achieved the 5th time in his series, but he will start penultimate on the grid following a partial downgrade. Enzo Hoarau (BS Racing) is second reserve while the other French drivers are eliminated.

Five races await us in Valencia on Sunday, two for the JuniorGP™ and Hawkers ETC categories, and one for the Moto2™ category.
