The penultimate round of the FIM World Championship JuniorGP ™ is getting closer, as the paddock heads to MotorLand Aragon. This could be the defining moment for several drivers looking to secure titles in an always captivating season.

The Aragon programme includes one FIM JuniorGP™ WCh race, two Moto2™ ECh races, two European Talent Cup races and one Stock ECh race, so there are plenty of points at stake in some categories.

JuniorGP: Alvaro Carpe waiting for glory?

Alvaro Carpe (STV Laglisse Racing) remains at the top of the JuniorGP™ standings thanks to its consistent performances throughout the season. With 122 points and a 19-point lead over Adrian Cruces (Finetwork Team), Carpe is ready to achieve a new performance in Aragon but cannot be crowned there, the last round in Valencia having two races in this category. Cruces and Jesus Rios (MRE Talent), third, who are only 23 points behind Carpe, will therefore be determined to keep the fight for the title alive.

Rios, in particular, has shown he can rise to the occasion under pressure and, given the unpredictable nature of the race, it's anyone's guess who will emerge victorious in Aragon. Marcos Uriarte (CFMoto Aspar Junior Team), fourth in the standings, remains within striking distance of the JuniorGP™ top three and could shake up the order if he can add to the four podiums he has already achieved this season.

Moto2 European Championship: Double uncertainty with two races

There are 50 points at stake in the Moto2™ ChE this weekend, where Roberto Garcia (Fantic Cardoso Racing) clings to its slim 2-point lead over Mattia Casadei (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro). The competition between these two has been fierce all season, and with Daniel Muñoz (Preicanos Racing Team) sitting just 17 points behind, but now also in the World Championship, the fight at Aragon promises to be fierce. With two Moto2™ ECh races on the schedule, there are twice as many opportunities for the leading duo to secure or lose crucial championship points, with the final round in Valencia featuring just one race in this class.

Fourth in the ranking, the Italian Alberto Surra (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) has accumulated three podiums and a victory since the start of the season. Just 19 points behind Garcia, he could have a chance to shake things up at the top of the standings.

French side, Johann Gimbert (Promoracing) will try to repeat its fine 4th place in the last round at Jerez, while Lorenzo Fellon (SF Racing) will try to continue to progress towards the Top 10.

European Talent Cup: Carlos Cano seeks to seal the deal

Carlos cano (SEVENTYTWO Motorsports Artbox) has dominated the ETC class this season with five podiums and five wins, posting a remarkable 145 points total and a 25-point lead over Marco Morelli (MLav Racing). A double win at MotorLand Aragon could see Cano crowned champion with one round to go, with the final round in Valencia featuring only one race in this category, but Morelli and David Gonzalez (AC Racing Team), who are 37 points behind Cano, will be ready to do anything to spoil his party. Two ETC races give them plenty of chances to get back into this tense title race.

On the French side, we will of course follow the very promising Enzo Bellon (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) who delighted us in Jerez, without however overshadowing the other two drivers of theFrench team implemented by the FFM, Benjamin Caillet (JEG Take OFF GP) and Mattéo Roman (First Bike Academy), nor Remy Sanjuan (Mecaprojets Team Ado), David DaCosta (BRS-Brechon Racing School), Evan Boxberger (JEG Take OFF GP), Elliot Kassigian (Team Larresport), Henri Mignot (BRS-Brechon Racing School), Mattias Rostagni (Mecasport) or Randy Truchot (Mecaprojets Team Ado).
