Jose Rueda (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) in JuniorGP™ and Senna Agius (Promoracing) in the European Moto2™ Championship each take two victories in the two races in Barcelona, while Brian Uriarte (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) is emerged victorious in the only Hawkers European Talent Cup race of the day, during this third round of the Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

In race 1 of JuniorGP™, Jose Rueda took the lead at Turn 3 and never looked back in the first race of the day. The Spaniard was untouchable and won by 11,3 seconds while the battle for the podium raged behind. Second place went to Syarifuddin Azman (SIC Racing), who took his first podium since his victory in Barcelona in 2021, while Philip Farioli (Aspar Junior Team) took the last step of the podium in front Angel Piqueras (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) and david savior (Laglisse Academy).

Race 2 followed the same kind of scenario. Jose Rueda didn't make the holeshot, but by the third turn he was leading the race and, once again, the number 99 took his third consecutive JuniorGP™ victory. The fight for the podium once again came down to the wire, Syarifuddin Azman taking second place and Filippo Farioli snatching the third from Angel Piqueras on the finish line, for a podium identical to that of the first race.

The double victory of Jose Rueda allows him to take 39 points ahead of david savior for the fourth round.

The first Moto2™ ECh race offered us an interesting battle between Senna Agius and the poleman Lukas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact JuniorGP Team). Lukas Tulovic led most of the time until a mistake at turn 9 with two laps to go allowed Senna Agius to infiltrate, and the young Australian held on to take his first Moto2™ victory.

Alex Escrig (Yamaha Philippines Stylobike Team) completed the podium in Race 1, whileEric Fernandez (Team Speed Racing) takes the stock victory.

In the second race, Lukas Tulovic, as he had done in the first, got off to a good start and took an early advantage. But once again, after making a small mistake at turn 9, Senna Agius took to the water and this time, with plenty of laps to go, the Australian broke away and took a dominant victory. After a great battle with Alex Escrig which lasted until the last turn, Alex Toledo (Pertamina Mandalika SAG Euvic) managed to get on his first podium in third position. Fernandez won the stock race in the afternoon to make it two from two.

In the championship, Lukas Tulovic still leads, but its lead is reduced to 25 points.

En Hawkers ETC, the race for victory was played between Brian Uriarte et Joel Esteban. Joel Esteban led into the last corner, but Brian Uriarte was able to get it over the line to win for the first time this season, beating Joel Esteban by only 0.014s.

The defending champion, Maximo Martinez (Team Honda Laglisse), reached the third step of the podium for the second time this season.

That's it for Barcelona! Round four takes us to the famous Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto in early July.
