Carlos Tatay, who was competing this year in the Moto3 World Championship at CFMOTO Racing PrÜstelGP, made an original decision by leaving the Grands Prix to move up in category. With a career that has seen him compete in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ (the current Junior GP Championship) in 2018 and 2019, the Red Bull Rookies Cup (2018) and three seasons of the Moto3 World Championship (2020-2022) , the 19-year-old Valencian already has good experience and will continue to demonstrate his skills in a new Moto2 category that will suit his XNUMX meter.

This year, he finished 15th in the championship, tied on points with Riccardo rossi, 14th. It is therefore as a Moto2 Rookie that we will find him next year, and it is in this capacity that he is currently participating in the test on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia.

Carlos Tatay : " This is a very important step for me. The goal is to enjoy riding the bike again and give the best of myself. I have been in the world championship for three years, which has given me a lot of experience. The objective is to have fun again and to give even more with a motorcycle which, I sincerely believe, will suit me better given my size. Moreover, in a championship that brings back memories of 2019, I will give my maximum next year! »

Eduardo Perales : " We are very happy to have a rider of Carlos' level. He has the experience of having already competed in the Motorcycle World Championship, so we are sure that he will show his full potential with a larger displacement bike, more in line with his current size. We hope to grow together on a sporting level and to be able to celebrate a great season in Junior GP. »
