The level of noise emissions from the machines used in our competitions and training is a major concern for the French Motorcycling Federation.

Faced with the societal challenges that face us and in order to perpetuate our practice sites which represent a wealth for our region and our sport, reducing noise emissions is a necessity.

After discussing in 2021 with representatives of manufacturers and accessories manufacturers, the French Motorcycling Federation presented them with the roadmap produced by the working group in charge of this subject during a meeting organized on May 18.

Beyond the sound levels applied from 2024, indicated below, studies will be carried out with a view to carrying out dynamic sound checks on speed and motocross circuits. Furthermore, various calls for projects will be launched in the coming weeks in order to respond to the specific problems of certain specialties, in particular Supermoto.

Sébastien Poirier, President of the French Motorcycling Federation: “I would like to thank Jean-Marc Desnues, Head of the FFM working group, for the work carried out.
