Esponsorama Racing; Cure of youth !
The future has never been brighter for Avintia Esponsorama Racing. With the signing of two talented drivers, all that remains is to confirm.
Although the team is not the best known, its creation dates back to 1994. The lack of strong identity undoubtedly comes from the successive name changes over the seasons. In reality, the team assembled by Raul Romero (still in office), and Josep Oliva, is called Team BQR.
The training accesses MotoGP in 2012, time to cut his teeth in the lower categories. It is during this transition that the name Avintia appeared on the team's machines. First entered in the CRT and Open class, the Spanish team benefits from Ducati performing since 2014. The results are not convincing, however.
Quality drivers have been there, like our Frenchies Mike Di Meglio et Loris Baz, without forgetting the 2 Moto2014 world champion, Tito Rabat. Héctor Barbera, in 2016, still had an honorable season. Apart from these few feats of arms, it is meager.

Johann zarco, in redemption, willy-nilly signs a contract for 2020, after the debacle KTM and a freelance at LCR. But the tricolor surprises the whole world during the Czech Republic Grand Prix by scoring pole and points for third place. A historic weekend for the Spanish team, but a little overshadowed, unfortunately, by the enormous accident of Spielberg.

Difficult to consider Avintia as a top team that can play at the forefront. zarco left for Pramac, normal given his results, but the recruits are top quality for 2021 with Aeneas Bastianini, 2 Moto2020 world champion, and Luca marini, illustrious brother of the legend Red, who finished vice-champion. It's hard to do better when you're focusing on the new generation! Will this be enough to concretize and get rid of the dunce image that sticks to the skin ofAvintia ? Maybe... A few brilliant moves from the two rookies are possible, style Brad Binder à Brno, and there is no doubt that number 46 will give some tips to his younger brother, but, unless you are an alien capable of winning in the first year, I am afraid that this team will have to chomp on the brakes again for a while before finding his way back to the front row and the podium. However, Avintia finally seems to be on the right track, both in terms of staff and drivers, and, unlike previous years, there is hope.
