The FIM CEV Repsol returns to action at Jerez this weekend, with Lorenzo Dalla Porta (ITA-Husqvarna) leading the Moto3™ Junior World Championship, and Steven Odendaal (RSA-Kalex) already crowned Moto2™ European Champion from the round previous in Portugal.

En Moto3, Grand Prix drivers Lorenzo Dalla Porta (ITA-Husqvarna) and Marcos Ramirez (SPA-KTM) are preparing to face each other again in the two races which will take place in Jerez.

The Italian Laglisse Academy driver leads the championship 31 points ahead of his Leopard Junior Stratos colleague, although the Spaniard won the Portimao round, breaking his Italian competitor's streak of three consecutive victories.

Kaito Toba (JPN-Honda), is third, 73 points behind the leader but has a good chance of winning the title although there are 4 races left, or 100 points to distribute.
However, although a little irregular, his valor has been noted and the young Japanese should make his Grand Prix arrival next year within the Honda Team Asia team, alongside Hiroki Ono. (see ranking below)

Raul Fernandez (SPA-Husqvarna) is fourth in the standings thanks to his first podium in Portugal, having just finished the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup  on the third step of the podium.

Enzo Boulom will skip this weekend to return in better conditions during the last weekend, in Valencia.

En Moto3™ Production, Alex Viu (SPA-Honda), 2016 runner-up in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, still leads the category, 34 points ahead Hector Garzo (SPA-Honda). Our representative, Lyvann Luchel, continues its progression and occupies third position.

With 39 registered in Jerez, and a few Grand Prix regulars, starters or not, the races should prove interesting to watch. They will be accessible to everyone on the channel Youtube dedicated, just like on the Eurosport Player for subscribers.

In Moto2™, With the European Championship title already awarded to Steven Odendaal (RSA-Kalex) since its two victories in Portugal, interest is now shifting to the fight for second place between Alan Techer (FRA-NTS TPro) and Tetsuta nagashima (JPN-Kalex) after the three drivers participated in the Aragon Grand Prix, obtaining 29th, 22nd and 25th positions respectively.

Eric Granado (BRA-Kalex), Augusto Fernández (SPA-Tech 3) and Iker Lecuona (SPA-Kalex) will also fight to reach the final podium of the championship, after the latter participated in the Grands Prix at Silverstone and Misano to replace within the CarXpert Interwetten team a Dominique Aegerter injured (see ranking below).
