The Red Bull Ring circuit has undergone slight adjustments around turn 10 for safety reasons.

MotoGP™, which has not made a stopover in Austria since 1997, is setting up shop at the Red Bull Ring, a circuit which has undergone small modifications following the tests carried out last July.

Franco Uncini, responsible for safety in MotoGP™, spoke with certain riders from the Safety Commission to find out their feelings about the layout and they decided together to reduce the width of the track to the amount of curve 10, from 13 to 10 meters; a measure aimed at lowering the speed when exiting a turn and therefore improving safety.

Due to this change, the times achieved during the Private Test cannot be used as a reference.
