Launched at the end of 2021, the Yamaha Racing Heritage Club has selected 4 major European events for its launch year, including only one date in France. See you all at the Sunday Ride Classic on the Paul Ricard circuit on June 11-12 to celebrate legendary riders and Yamaha!

Designed to perpetuate and share with younger generations Yamaha's racing history, the Yamaha Racing Heritage Club brings together international collectors who preserve some of the most iconic Yamahas. The club currently brings together Grand Prix speed motorcycles between 1987 and 2009 as well as Superbike and Endurance machines from 1987 to 2009. But the YRHC is not limited to models. It also counts in its ranks the riders who gave Yamaha its greatest successes. In 2022, the YRHC has chosen 4 major events to meet its audience, in Italy (Autodromo di Varano), in France (Sunday Ride Classic), in Germany (Sachsenring Classic) and in England (Classic Motorcycle Festival).

For this first in France, on July 11 and 12 on the Paul Ricard circuit in Castellet (83), the club will celebrate the best of two-stroke racing. On the track, you will have to keep your eyes and ears wide open to fully enjoy historic, rare and exclusive models. The TZ750 1977 “Agostini”, TZ750 1977 “Sarron”, TZ750 1978 “Rigal”, TZ250L 1984 “Sarron”, YZR250 1986 “Lavado” will all be driven by the champions of the time: Carlos Lavado (250 World Champion 1983-1986 ), Christian Sarron (250 World Champion 1984) and Giacomo Agostini (15 times 350 and 500 World Champion between 1966 and 1975). A 500 ROC YZR1993, identical to the one ridden by Freddie Spencer on behalf of Yamaha Motor France, will this time be driven by Eric de Seynes (President of Yamaha Motor Europe).

Christian Sarron and Giacomo Agostini (who will celebrate his 80th birthday in the following days!) will hold signing sessions on the YRHC stand. Under the canopy, the 500 YZR1989 “Sarron” and 900 XSR2022, the YZR750 0W31 “Cecotto” and R1 60e anniversary 2022 will also have something to satisfy fans of beautiful mechanics. Note that the TZ Club will also be present alongside the YRHC with several exceptional models. Everything has come together to ensure that this edition of the Sunday Ride Classic, which combines competition and demonstrations with more than 1000 motorcycles on the track, exhibitions and meetings with renowned riders of all generations, is a new success!
