Franco Morbidelli, Johann Zarco, Fabio Quartararo, Pol Espargaró, Valentino Rossi, Aleix Espargaró, Joan Mir, Cal Crutchlow, Maverick Vinales and Danilo Petrucci are already qualified for Qualification 2 and will be able to concentrate on their racing pace during this 4-minute FP30.

To Álex Rins, Takaaki Nakagami, Andrea Dovizioso, Jack Miller, Brad Binder and the unfortunate Miguel Oliveira, we must also think about Qualification 1 which will only pick two of them.

Conditions are quite warm this afternoon, with pristine skies and temperatures of 30° in the air and 50° on the ground at the start of this fourth free practice session in Brno.

Here are the references available at the time the 21 pilots are preparing, Francis Bagnaia having already returned to Italy to have surgery on his right tibia:

As often lately, Franco Morbidelli sets off first to have a clear trail. His French teammate prefers the opposite tactic and lets the majority of his opponents leave before leaving his box.

fabio quartararo et Valentino Rossi proved to be the fastest at the end of the first flying lap, the Niçois achieving 1'57.134, while Alex Marquez minor fall at turn number 8.

Pol Espargaro then comes to insert himself between the two Yamaha pilots, just like Takaaki Nakagami et Franco Morbidelli. The KTM rider continued his effort and climbed to the top of the standings in 1'56.967.

fabio quartararo responded on the next pass in 1'56.959 while his teammate made a minor mistake at turn #11 in a "bizarre" fall.

Valentino Rossi delights fans by appearing in third provisional position, but Fabio Quartararo et Pol I will espargaro, who are held in 8/1000, have a pace 8/10 faster than the multiple Italian champion…

At the end of the first run, it is this gap which is surprising, plus the ranking made up of Fabio Quartararo, Pol Espargaró, Valentino Rossi, Franco Morbidelli, Joan Mir, Aleix Espargaró, Brad Binder, Takaaki Nakagami, Maverick Viñales, Jack Miller, Johann Zarco, Andrea Dovizioso and Álex Rins.

Just after mid-session, Franco Morbidelli does not take long to leave and grabs a position to the detriment of Valentino Rossi.

Alex Rins shows that he will have to be counted on in Q1 by seizing provisional fourth position.

Andrea Dovizioso is 14th. He produced his effort five minutes from the end but missed in the third sector. The Ducati behaves well in the first, but the following ones appear very difficult... The official Ducati rider will have to go through Q1 to hope to appear on the first four rows of the starting grid. However, two minutes from the checkered flag, the Italian hoisted his GP 20 to sixth position, taking advantage of the wake of fabio quartararo.
