All time lap record

1'23.027 Marc Márquez (2019)

When the red lights go out, it's Maverick Vinales who sets off first on the track while his teammate Valentino Rossi, after qualifying in Q1, takes a few seconds to breathe.

The two Yamaha riders opted for the medium rear, unlike the rest of their opponents.

From his first lap launched, fabio quartararo sets the bar very high by registering a very fast 1'23.787.

In the next passage, Maverick Vinales lowers the benchmark to 1'23.716 but the Frenchman responds in 1'23.787. The turn of Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales is canceled anyway.

But the Catalan reacts and regains the lead in 1'23.694: clearly, Yamaha has found something...

At the end of the first run, we find Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales , 22/1000 ahead Fabio Quartararo and Joan Mir, Jack Miller, Álex Rins, Andrea Dovizioso, Pol Espargaró, Valentino Rossi, Johann Zarco, Franco Morbidelli, Takaaki Nakagami and Miguel Oliveira, all in 6 tenths.

For the second run, everyone is on soft tires at the rear…

On resumption, Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales still grabs a few hundredths in 1'23.643, but it's Andrea Dovizioso who took the lead on the next pass, in 1'23.618.

It only lasts a few seconds, before Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales does not regain his property in 1'23.450.

Pol Espargaro carries out his attack but is satisfied with the third beat, then the fourth when Andrea Dovizioso surpasses it.

fabio quartararo rises to second position when, in extremis Jack Miller steals it from him.
