Against all expectations, the Moto2 qualifying session was decided from the first minutes with a Jonas Folger who borrowed the hammer from Jorge Lorenzo for his first laps on the Losail track. The German even set the new track record in 1'59.052.
A lightning war which petrified his opponents who collected falls and mistakes. Starting with a alex rins who violently tried bitumen just like Marini, Wilairot, Pasini or even Baldassari.
