In the furnace of the circuit Sepang, Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS driver Jack Miller qualified in eleventh position on the starting grid for the Malaysian Grand Prix.
A week after taking seventh place in his national Grand Prix in Australia, Miller therefore finds himself on the fourth row of the penultimate race of the season.
Courageous, the Australian continues to overcome the after-effects of his broken right leg which occurred a month ago in training. A plate and eight screws had to be installed following this accident.
Sixth this morning in FP3, Miller managed to advance directly to Q2. Unfortunately, the Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS driver was not able to be as sharp this afternoon on a track where the temperature exceeded 48 degrees.
But with a good series of fast and regular laps on the handlebars of his Honda RC213V, the Australian is convinced that tomorrow he will have the means to get a place in the top ten at the end of the twenty laps of the race.
Rabat he will start from 19th place on the seventh row of the starting grid at the Sepang circuit after having set a lap of 2'01.228 in FP1.
This is the best time of the weekend for the Spanish driver who had a lot of difficulty finding his rhythm on Friday in mixed conditions.
The Malaysian Grand Prix is the seventeenth round of the MotoGP world championship.

« We made changes to the bike before qualifying but it wasn't perfect and I wasn't able to improve my time from this morning in FP3. I know I have the pace and it's a shame not to have been able to do a really fast lap to secure a better place on the grid. But here, eleventh, it's not dramatic either. I should be in a position to have a good race.
