Barely got off his official Honda RC213V after having achieved the pole position for this Malaysian Grand Prix, it is very happy that Dani Pedrosa spoke to the microphone of the official website MotoGP.com, after having experienced very difficult sessions in the wet.

Dani, congratulations on this first pole position since Barcelona. Johann Zarco told us he expected to have pole position. Was it the same for you or did you have to take a lot of risks to get it?

Dani Pedrosa : “yes, of course, you have to take risks and I made a few mistakes, even during my time. But I'm very happy, because it's the third pole of the year, which is quite positive, and normally I don't do so many poles. I'm happy about that. Starting tomorrow from the front row is very important. The track improved so the times were faster each time because we didn't have any rain today. We therefore hope that we will have another race in the dry tomorrow, because we struggled a lot yesterday in the wet. Either way, we have to focus on the race. »
