Barely got off his Yamaha M1 from the Monster Tech3 team after setting the 2nd fastest time in the qualifying for this Malaysian Grand Prix, Johann Zarco spoke to the microphone of the official website MotoGP.com.
Congratulations Johann for being on the front line again! Your qualification was very good but will you be able to do the same tomorrow during the race?
Johann zarco : “I hope so and I think so, because we made a great FP4 with a front mid and a rear mid. I think I can do the whole race and find a good pace for the victory. So it's pretty positive and I just need to wait and see what the weather will be like on Sunday. I think it will be very hard for everyone because of the heat, as always and in all categories. I am ready to fight for this. I'm very happy with qualifying today, I felt good, we made some small improvements with the team, then, with the second tire, I really had a good time, especially the last one. I was hoping for pole position but I'm not at all disappointed because second position, that is to say the first row, is the most important thing; fighting at this level is simply fantastic! »
