Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa visited a school to raise awareness among young people about the importance of fighting against bullying.

More than 1 students from Jorge Juan's Sagrada Familia school in Madrid welcomed four world champions: Repsol Honda MotoGP riders Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa, as well as trials riders Toni Bou and Takahisa Fujinami.

Márquez and Pedrosa, fresh from the races and tests of the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, and Bou and Fujinami, who are already preparing for the start of the X-Trial World Championship, have come together for a worthy cause: the fight against bullying.

The quartet has won a total of 32 world titles, most recently by Marc Márquez in MotoGP. Together, they stood up to fight against bullying in classrooms, under the slogan “Stop Bullying”.

In a crowded playground, the four pilots answered questions during a question-and-answer session with the children.

According to Marc Marquez, who are " Today's event is almost a tradition. After the Valencia test, we visit a school thanks to Repsol. Coming to an event like this, with so many children, is always nice, and even more so if it's for a cause like the fight against bullying. Being able to do our part to contribute is important, and we also love seeing how the children are enjoying the day and getting excited. »

Marquez knows the subject. The winner of this year's Misano GP then explained that he was saddened by the reaction of some spectators who applauded when he fell during the warm-up. He was also booed on the podium, after stealing victory from Danilo Petrucci, Andrea Dovizioso and Ducati at home on the Marco Simoncelli circuit.

Márquez then said he hoped his own fans would never behave like this in the future, saying that " the feeling is not pleasant ».

“It honestly makes me sad because for the podium I can understand, but what I can't understand is when you crash and the stands cheer. We are driving at 300 km/h on the track, we are pushing to the limit, our lives are at stake and we can get injured.

“I hope that in the future, at least my fans will never do it with any driver because the feeling is not pleasant. »
