It is with Mahindra, the Indian manufacturer who won the last Grand Prix at Sepang with Francesco Bagnaia, that Max Biaggi is setting up his team to participate in the CIV next year (Italian speed championship).

Max came to the CIV race in Mugello on October 9, in the TM stand to chat with Alessandro Delbianco, official driver of the TM Racing Factory Team, sixth and seventh that weekend in the two Moto3 races. Delbianco highlighted himself by winning a single race this year at Mugello on July 3. Eleventh in the final standings of the Championship, he finished 4 races out of 10. Born in Rimini (near Misano), he is 19 years old.

He won the Minimoto Junior A European Championships in 2006 and 2007, and Minimoto Junior B in 2008. Max Biaggi has a much longer track record, with 6 World Champion titles, 4 in 250 cc and 3 in Superbike.

He would have received a polite but firm “No thanks, there are already so many of us…  »

Alessandro Delbianco will discover Biaggi's Mahindra in Valencia in mid-November. It is very likely that Max will also hire a second rider, also from the ranks of CIV Moto3.
