In June, Massimiliano Biaggi was the victim of a major accident in a Supermoto, with both lungs affected and eleven ribs fractured. He has not yet completely recovered from it and was all the more worried as he was not far from a very serious situation. He declared when leaving the hospital: They saved my life, and that's no small thing. »

Biaggi has since reflected. “Get back on a motorcycle? It's a moment in my life that I think I've completely moved past. Over the last few years I've gotten used to it, but I don't think I'll ride in the saddle again, even for fun.

“Although I feel a passion for motorcycling, my deepest emotion has never been a drug, but an object capable of giving me libido and joy. »

Regarding his past as a champion, Max added “ What happened to me will never be forgotten. I cannot make decisions about the future because I am forced to work hard to regain my physical health. »

Regarding his relationship with his current fiancée Bianca Atzei, Biaggi concludes “The beginning made me think, I would say that I was not her prince charming. Now we're doing well and it's a very intense time in our relationship, but I think the institution of marriage is a bit retro. »

Furthermore, Max enters a team in CIV (Italian Championship) Moto3, the Max Racing Team Mahindra running Davide Baldini and Alessandro Delbianco. Biaggi wanted to bring him up to GP in 2018, but he was not granted an entry. On the other hand, its main support, the Indian manufacturer Mahindra, is withdrawing, which complicates things.

After the July 30 race at Misano, Delbianco is fourteenth in the Championship with 34 points, 93 units behind leader Kevin Zannoni, and Baldini seventeenth.
