The weather for the Austrian Grand Prix is generally similar to that prevailing these days in the East of France, although with slightly cooler temperatures due to the altitude of 677 meters at which Zeltweg is located.
The various meteorological organizations anticipate stormy rains for the day on Friday, then an improvement and a drop in temperatures until Sunday when a beautiful sun should shine in the Styrian sky.
It is therefore possible that drivers will have to switch to rain tires for at least one session, but this should probably remain marginal and one-off.
And that's good, because the circuit has clearly been denounced as dangerous by Cal Crutchlow...
